Time for a new book review around here at Simple Home Basics. The book up and in the queue is Wear Clean Underwear by Alexis Martin Neely. Normally not my genre, I am hoping I will be stepping into a great explanation for busy parents - like me - on the legal side of family; planning ahead to make sure your family is taken care of just incase something happens to you.

Consider this a review on how to help organize your life a bit better. It will definitely give you the opportunity to see how you can protect your children’s life.

Starter Kit For Change Giveaway

Going green is a huge movement happening in our society. More and more individuals and families are reducing, reusing, and recycling. Last year I even made the initiative to make a change for the better. I changed all of my light bulbs over to CFL’s and recycle EVERYTHING. I never print anything, unless it is a must, and use my own bags to shop. I am even looking into reducing the junk mail that I receive and I am on paperless billing for all my monthly bills.

Granted there is a lot more that I can do, but I am making strides in learning how to grow my “green” and now you can too!
