Labels are placed everyday on women of all ages expecting each to look and act in a particular way. In general the media helps to give society this idea - that as a woman, you are to act and look a particular way and helping in a large portion to crush the self-esteem of young women everywhere.
A non-profit organization based in San Francisco, About Face, aims to help women of all ages understand that they are more than just the image built by the media and offered to society as being the perfect woman. Encouraging women to embrace their true self, About Face helps women to find their voice against the media hype.
