Gift Wrapping Ideas

There is no need to buy expensive ornaments to grace your packages for the Holiday season. Using a loving touch and a few thoughtful ideas, your gifts can be dressed to look expensive, but at the right price for you and your purse.
Traveling around the internet for some fun, inexpensive gift wrapping ideas, I compiled a list of gift wrapping ideas that use some basic items you might have at home from past holidays or seasonal events.
Now, this is a beginners list and I will add to it as I continue to find some great gift wrapping ideas. Continue to stop by and see our list grow!
Wrapping Paper
- Tissue paper. Use simple tissue paper in festive Holiday colors, like red, green, gold, and purple. At Holiday time, many retailers offer tissue paper in bulk at an inexpensive price.
- Fabric. Use fabric that is no longer needed for other projects. This will give an elegant look and feel to the gift.
- Maps. Is someone moving? Going to school? Use an old map lying around to wrap their gift.
Bows & Ribbons
- Flowers: Adorn gifts with fake or dried festive flowers tucked into a ribbon.
- Ornaments. Dress up your packages with decorative ornaments you no longer use. Wrap ribbon around your package and once back at the top loop the ribbon through various size ornaments.
- Jewelry. Costume jewelry can make a sparkling hit. Use instead of bows or ribbons to create a masterpiece. Using a small amount of hot glue on the underside, place on the gift.
