Hunters Feeding the Hungry

hunters.jpgI hadn’t heard anything about Hunters Feeding the Hungry until I began to do some research on another organization and the link just happened to stand out.  I decided to learn a bit more about the organization and found the link for my state’s program.  There I learned about how hunters can help local families eat healthy meals by donating all or a portion of their meat.

There may be many times when hunters have more meat then they will possibly consume before going bad in their freezer and with that in mind Hunters Feeding the Hungry has set up local processors and distribution that will process the meat and distribute to needy families.

No need to be a hunter to donate.  Funds can be donated to help with overhead costs, such as the processors and distributors.
