He not only brings tears to his eyes, but joy too many children every year with the giving of a simple toy that many take for granted - a bicycle.  His generosity has only grown with almost 150 bicycles being given away each year to children that might not have one.

Lewis Days is affectionately known as the Bike Man in his neighborhood by children and adults alike.  His love is taking broken bikes and making them as new as possible.  He then gives them away to children without.  His chosen children - well he has no system really, he has found kids from the grocery store, on his street, and from the Boys & Girls Club deserving of one of his bikes.

What does he get in return?  The gratitude of a city for helping their children realizes a dream of the fun, freedom, and adventure that a bike will bring.
