Tide Loads of Hope in partnership with America’s Second Harvest helps families hit by disaster by providing facilities to clean clothes and linens in the aftermath. Clean clothes are something many of us take for granted, but to those affected by a hurricane, fire, or other disaster can be a wonderful gift. The Tide CleanStart Truck, a mobile laundry unit, travels to devistated cities to do just that, help launder clothes for those affected.The Tide CleanStart Truck were created in the wake of Hurricane Katrina and the need for clean clothing.

Tide CleanStart Truck statistics:

• 32 high-effiency washers and dryers
• 300 wash and dry cycles a day
• Washed over 20,000 loads of laundry for New Orleans families
