Girls Night Out

img_girlsnight Has it been a while since you and your girl friends have taken a night to pamper yourselves? Need a night that can be your tradition among the girls? Take a girls night out and make it a spectacular event. Here are a few ideas to get you started.

The Regular

The regular old stand-by - pamper your body and relax with gossip. Invite the girls over to indulge in a night of taste-testing some fun finger foods, while sipping a bit of fruity wine. Then after satisfying the taste-buds, take turns giving each other manicures and pedicures.

During this simple, yet completely relaxing evening, you and your friends can catch up on chatter about the past week, what will be upcoming, marriage, kids, or even the single life.

The Exquisite

Does your night out need some spark? Have you wanted to learn French, maybe travel to Spain? Theme up your girls night out!

Create a meal around a country you would love to visit, listen to music in their native language, watch a movie from the country, you can even rent language CD’s from your local library and learn some of the language throughout your evening.

Not wanting to stay in? Take your theme on the road. Have everyone pitch in to rent a limo or car and driver for the night and experience first hand the cuisine and culture from your chosen country. You can even test out your language skills.

The Adventure

This is a new one for me, but one that I plan to do. Nothing more fun then gathering up the girls and going on a scavenger hunt! Yep, that’s right, a scavenger hunt!

An easy hunt is to either chose a place - like a park or mall - or create a theme - like objects that are green - then set the challenge: within a set amount of time, each person or team must find 26 items within your place or theme that begins with each letter of the alphabet - A to Z.

Hunts are limitless. Have everyone throw in some ideas of the next hunt to do and you could be scavenging for months!

Use your imagination when it comes to your girl’s night - movie night, food night, beach night, slumber night - ideas are everywhere.

So that you always have an abundant amount of ideas to choose from, have everyone write down 3 to 5 ideas each and place them in a container. At the end of you current girl’s night out, draw from the container what you will do for your next night.

What do you do for your girl’s night out? Let me know and we can add it to our list!
