Decorating a home can sometimes be a daunting task, especially if you know you are tired of the current look, but your not quite sure what to do to make the change.  A simple addition to your home décor is a mirror.

Mirrors can be purchased in all shapes and sizes and will fit in just about any spot you have available.  Strategically located, your mirror can do two things for your space; give your space a face life and give your space openness and depth.

If you have a small space, like a hall or entry way, a mirror either placed at the ends of the hall or directly across from the door, will open your space so it doesn’t feel small and crowded. 

A simple tip for dressing up your mirror, adorn with simple fabrics.  Just by taking any fabric that you find to complete your space and draping it over the corners will give your mirror a home feeling.  You can also use dried or silk flowers, or you can even use stencil to dress up the edges.

Inexpensive places to locate mirrors, fabrics, and flowers - flea markets, garage sales, and vintage shops.  All of these places can give you great, simple product to make a classy add to your home.  Plus, you might be able to find some other great finds to dress up your space.
