For A Princess

Adding a touch of class to a drab bedroom can bring sparkle back into any young girls eyes. By highlighting your daughters room with a bit of eloquence, the room will be a bright, glowing atmosphere that your daughter will love to share with her friends.

Princess Room Now, what is best with the example that I am going to share with you today is that you don’t need to follow exactly the same patterns and colors used. Follow the basic directions, but use your imagination. Add colors and pizazz that would show off your daughter’s real self.

Create a pink princess room, with yellow flowers and sparkling glitter; a blue comfy cozy room by the shore with sand and shells; or create a fluffy white and blue sly, like floating in fluffy clouds. Your daughter will love to keep her room clean and may never want to leave.

The picture to the left, a room created and featured on Southern Living by Alice Welsh Doyle, was one I fell in love with. Unfortunately, my daughter’s bed does not sit easily for me to create this in her room, so I needed to think of how I could implement this atmosphere within our home.

My solution: Use the empty space I do have. I have a sitting room off of my kitchen - actually a dining room, but don’t use it for that - and decided to create a sitting area for my daughter along the same lines as the bedroom, but use stuffed, fuzzy and bright pillows as her sit-upon’s. This would be her area to go and read in a cozy center or even go and listen to music quietly.

So, I shared what my idea of what I plan to do. What would you like to do? Let us in on a few ideas.
